Translation Experts Ltd. respects and protects the privacy of the individuals that use InterTran translation service. Individually identifiable information about you is not wilfully disclosed to any third party without first receiving your permission, as explained in this privacy policy ("Privacy Policy").

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Translation Experts Ltd. will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.
Translation Experts Ltd. will send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people only when:

• We have your consent to share the information
• We need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested
• We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of Translation Experts Ltd. to provide a product or service to you. (Unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us.)
• We respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process
• We find that your actions on our web sites violate the Terms of Service or any of our usage guidelines for specific products or services.

Helpful Definitions

Personally identifiable information is information, like your name, birth date, e-mail address or mailing address, that can be used to uniquely identify you.

We use this information to expand and improve our service.

Anonymous Information

We collect anonymous information when people use our site, even if they have not registered with us. We use this information to personalise your experience on our site, to improve language pairs, to enhance our translation quality, and to improve our services in general. We can share this anonymous information with some other companies, so you can see more relevant advertising messages. These companies analyses anonymous information that we collect during your visit to InterTran translation service and other sites to understand what advertising messages you would like.

We base our demographic data only on the IP addresses that access our translation system. We use this anonymous data to improve the quality and range of our service.

We do not ordinarily link a user's IP address to a person's personal information, which means we will have a record of each user's session but the user remains anonymous to us. We will use IP addresses to identify users of our site when we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with our site's terms of use or to protect our service, site, or other users.

PLEASE NOTE: Under certain circumstances, IP addresses and/or domain names may be linked to personally identifiable information, when said information is stored in databases managed by Internet registrars or registries such as Network Solutions or ARIN.

Personally Identifiable Information

In order to use the part of the service that requires the authentication you must provide us with some information. You must provide us with all of the information required for billing purposes, and we will ask you for some optional statistical information. We cannot give you the access to this part of the service if we don't have all of the billing information.

We are sometimes using your preferences in statistical purposes to see what service is most commonly used. We use this information to improve our service and we don't share this data with anyone else.

The information provided to us during the registration is used for billing purposes, and e-mail you provide us with is used for sending you occasional information about our new products or services.

Security

We periodically review our web security. This is done at least once a month.

Sensitive information, such as credit card numbers are not stored on the Internet nor on the system that provides the service. All sensitive data is send to as over the Internet in encrypted form.

Only certain employees have access to the information you provide us. For example, we impose strict rules on our employees who have access either to the databases that store user information or to the servers that host our services. While we cannot guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration to data will not occur, we try to prevent such unfortunate occurrences.

During the translation InterTran will translate other sites. They may not be connected to Translation Experts Ltd. and their privacy policy may differ from ours. We are also not responsible for the content of these sites.

Cookies

A "cookie" is a small piece of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. Cookies do not damage your computer. The cookie that we send to you (only if you are a registered user) contains only the information about your username and password. That way we can login you without prompting you for one. We don't connect the cookie with your personal information, but we can do that if we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with our site's terms of use or to protect our service, site, or other users.

All of your personal preferences is stored on our server. We store the language pair you last used and all the information that you can see in the "Configuration" section if InterTran.

All of your personal informations that you provided us with during the registration is not stored on the Internet or on the computer providing you with the service.

REMEMBER: Because your special cookie relates only to your Internet browser, when you receive a cookie, it will last only as long as your computer's cookie file is maintained. If you switch to a new computer, or change or upgrade your browser, or clean out your computer's cookie file, you will need to authorise manually and you will receive the new cookie after the successful authorisation.

Children

Our site complies with the terms of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. We will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information on users under the age of 13 without parental consent.

In cases where you have authorised a minor to use the Products and Services, you recognise that you are fully responsible for:

• the online conduct of such minor
• controlling the minor's access to and use of the Products and Services
• the consequences of any misuse by the minor.

Registration / Deactivation

Upon registering, you will receive your username and password required to use the InterTran. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and username, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or username. You agree to immediately notify us at Intertran1@tranexp.com of any unauthorised use of your password or account or any other breach of security. Translation Experts Ltd. cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this requirement.
